A survey on experimental elicitation of creativity in economics

The interplay between individual creative ability and the way to enhance it is an issue with tremendous potential for economic analysis. In this survey, we delve into by focusing on methodological advantages of experiments. We provide a review literature in experimental economics creativity, identifying seven main objects study. Namely, impact creativity of: (1) low vs. high monetary incentives, (2) incentives tasks, (3) within-group competition, (4) cooperation, (5) cultural factors, (6) non-monetary social (7) strategic behavior. also classify studies our according key features standard procedures economics, such as type task, assessed, specific subject pool. This multidimensional comparison allows us conclude that current lack robust findings determinants might be due absence comparable under same conditions.
